Bright and early this Friday morning Kristina McAnally of Event Planning Headquarters, a division of Special Event Rentals, joined host of City TV’s Breakfast Television Edmonton, Ryan Jespersen, to discuss décor trends for this fall.
Kristina’s two tablescapes, one of vintage elegance and one urban contemporary, gave viewers new and exciting ways to set the table for their delicious thanksgiving feast.
With ivory linen, soft lace and copper satin napkins the perfect canvas was set for a nostalgic vintage table. Topped with a family tree centerpiece made of glass votive candleholders covered in old family photos, fall floral and squash, this warm inviting table was finished with fake pearl bracelets reinvented as napkin rings.
For a more urban contemporary feel, Kristina’s second table was laid with a pewter satin linen and a burnt orange pintuck table runner. White chiavari chairs and place settings tied this table together along with a white Milano urn filled with Manzanita branches and green kale to add a hint of color. “Don’t be afraid to use hints of green on your thanksgiving table”. Light a few candles for your finishing touch!
Kristina McAnally has been highly praised for her decor and design skills as well as her attention to detail by a number of Edmonton’s most prestigious hotels and conference centers. Kristina handles approximately 40 events a year and is often sought out by companies and couples looking to wow guests on their big day.
