This year the Taste of Edmonton Festival will be introducing a new event, the ATCO Gas Cook-Off competitions. The competition will be a two day event at the ATCO Blue Flame Kitchen Theater. Teams will be composed of Chefs and food bloggers and they will need to combine their skills, knowledge and taste buds to compete in the 1st annual Taste Festival Cook-Off. A panel of industry professionals will judge all the dishes and determine the winner of the 1st Taste Festival Cook-Off.

Sunday, July 22- 11:30am to 1:30pm: The ATCO Gas Food Truck Entrée Cook-Off provides food bloggers the chance to step out from behind their keyboard and get into the action. They will create a one-of-a-kind entrée using unique Albertan products provided by Safeway.
Monday, July 23- 11:30am to 1:30pm: “Cooking with the Stars” BBQ Cook-Off sponsored by ATCO Gas will pair three Edmonton-based Chefs with three food bloggers to compete in a heated BBQ battle. The top team will be awarded with ATCO Cook-Off trophies.
