We do not think it is possible to have too much glitter in your life! Watch our YouTube video to learn how to add a little extra glitter to a pair of your heels.
You will need the following items:
- Extra fine glitter
- Mod Podge – glossy
- Paintbrush
- A pair of shoes
- Paper plate
- Paper cup
- Tape
Step 1: Clean the sole of your shoes.
Step 2: Place tape around the edge of the sole.
Step 3: Mix Mod Podge and your extra fine glitter in the paper cup.
Step 4: With even even strokes paint the entire sole with your glitter and Mod Podge mixture.
Step 5: Over the paper plate cover the entire sole with dry glitter and shake off any excess glitter onto the plate.
Step 6: Lay your shoes sole side up for 20 minutes or until completely dry.
Step 7: Apply another coat of the glitter and Mod Podge mixture.
Step 8: Lay your shoes out again, sole side up for 20 minutes or until completely dry.
Step 9: With a clean paintbrush apply a layer of Mod Podge to seal the glitter in place.
Step 10: Leave your shoes to dry for another 20 minutes or over night for best results.
Step 11: Take your new glittery shoes for a spin!
