Wreaths are a great way to add seasonal colour and décor to any door or wall. As we have said previously we love fall and the colour palette that it brings. Using autumn colours as our inspiration we created a fun wreath that will add a touch of autumn décor to any home. You will be amazed at how easy it is to make your own wreath for the autumn season!
You will need the following items:
- Wire coat hanger
- Strips of fabric in four colours
- Ribbon
Step 1: Cut your fabric into strips that are 1 ½” wide by 7” long.
Step 2: Unwire the coat hanger and then the wire into a circle frame.
Step 3: Take a strip of fabric and tie it in a knot around the wire frame.
Step 4: Continue to tie the fabric strips around the wire until it’s completely covered.
Step 5: Adjust the fabric strips to your liking. Move some of the pieces sideways to make the wreath appear fuller and so you cannot see any of your knots.
Step 6: Tie the ribbon securely around the wire
Step 7: Hang your new autumn wreath on your door or hang it on your wall for a festive feel
