Autumn Bridal Shows

Our team was extremely excited to meet all the happy couples at Bridal Fantasy and Bridal Expo this September. We had so much fun designing and creating our bridal show booths that we can’t wait to prepare and meet new people at the next bridal shows in January.

We would like to thank Janine from FaBLOOMosity for providing us with beautiful florals for both of these events and Cake Couture for providing us with delicious goodies for the Bridal Expo.

If you attended either of these shows we hope that you had a fabulous time and went home with new ideas and concepts for your special day.

Have any questions about our services or anything you saw at our booth at either of the shows? Please stop by our showroom or contact one of our knowledgeable customer service representatives at 780-435-2211 to have all your questions answered!

Below are a few highlights from our booths at Bridal Fantasy and Bridal Expo in September.

Step 4: Once the basic shape is created, it is time for paper mache! Create a solution of equal mixed glue and water. Tear newspaper into small portions and apply to teacup with solution. We only did one paper mache layer which created a sturdy teacup. Apply a small layer of paper to the handle.

Step 5: Allow a day for the teacup to dry and the handle to completely harden. Bend the handle into the shape you desire and glue it to the teacup.

Step 6: Decorate!  The possibilities are endless. Whether you use paint, glitter, studs, sparkles or leave the original newspaper visible your teacup is sure to look wonderful! We used pieces of paper doilies to decorate ours along with tropical blue paint.

Fall Showroom – Victorian Blush

Taking inspiration from the beloved vintage theme Jenelle Jamani from Event Planning Headquarters created this tranquil Victorian fall tablescape.

Set in front of a full voile backdrop with beaded curtains this table would be the perfect choice for the bride who wants a Victorian atmosphere with a splash of colour at their reception.

To keep the banquet table open an ornate centrepiece was placed together in the middle of the table. This romantic centrepiece was created using an assortment of vases, urns and flowers with princess cut votives scattered across the middle of the entire table.

Fall Showroom – Autumn Lace

Jenelle Jamani from Event Planning Headquarters designed this fall inspired, autumn lace tablescape.

The fall season has brought an air of romance and old world charm to this tablescape. A cappuccino lace overlay adds an elegant ambiance to the table setting, keeping the tones natural and charming. To maintain the regale atmosphere of the tablescape a touch of subtle colour is added with a aubergine damask napkin, while lilac organza chair ties accent gold chiavari chairs.

To keep the table from feeling overly cluttered the table is adorned with a simple white urn filled with amethyst flowers, an elegant frame for table number display and topped off with mercury votive candle holders to set a romantic mood.

Victorian Elegance

Love to be daring and want to make a statement at your upcoming wedding? Our team at Event Planning Headquarters took one of our most desired linens, the rosette tablecloth in black, and created a bold setting fit for any statement bride.

The black rosette tablecloth is full of texture and emanates a Victorian elegance. A mixture of mirrors, vases, candleholders and wired display items create this dramatic centrepiece. Cream Hydrangea frames adorn this aubergine satin backdrop to create a subtle contrast against the rich dark tones of the tablescape.

A Modern Terrarium

Terrariums are a hot new trend for centerpieces this year and we are loving it! Our team at Event Planning Headquarters, a division of Special Event Rentals, embraced this new trend and created a modern terrarium tablescape in our showroom.

Black chiavari chairs add a sharp crisp feel against the neutral tones of the ironwood nova linen and silver pintuck runner, on the table. Additional colour is introduced into this table setting with the rose gold mercury votive holders and the rich green of the succulents.
