What’s Your Wedding Style? Vintage Attire

Classic Vintage Attire
Classic Vintage Attire The classic vintage bride is one who loves lace, pearls and long wavy curls. She opts for a birdcage veil and heirloom jewellery as her accessories to complete her bridal look. The groom and groomsmen will be seen with unique bowties and pocket squares. The bridesmaids would shop local boutiques with the bride to find vintage mismatched garments.

Rustic Vintage Attire Rustic Wedding AttireThe rustic bride is down to earth but sophisticated and can be seen with her favourite cowboy boots peeking out of her dress and accessorizing with natural elements such as feathers in her hair. The men will flaunt casual footwear, cardigans and messenger hats with boutonnieres of wheat, and bridesmaid’s bouquets are tied with burlap for country flair.

Refined Coral

With spring right around the corner this table designed by Jenelle Jamani is simply a breath of fresh air. This table takes a fresh and refined approach on the traditional vintage tables that we have seen over the past two years. Clean and bright colours are combined with subtle dark detail from the decorative iron birdcage to the striking chiavari’s to create a stunning table for the upcoming spring and summer season.

A Mountain Retreat

Bring the mountain atmosphere to the comforts of the city for your next event with the help of a few key elements. Our new Georgia pine trees are an essential piece in creating the below mountain retreat tablescape. Earth tones such as green, brown and ivory helped maintain a soft atmosphere that we just love! Kristina McAnally from Event Planning Headquarters created this peaceful mountain retreat table.

Wedding Wednesday – A Classic Touch of Tiffany

This week’s feature wedding displays a bold black and white colour palette with accents of tiffany blue.

The room produces a classic, elegant atmosphere with a stunning beaded curtain backdrop and the timeless black and white baroque linens with touches of tiffany blue. Flowers were omitted from the centerpieces in favour of a modern white feather ball on top of a black finial vase for the guest tables and black urns along the head table.

The couple put their own spin on the traditional guestbook and created a fun and interactive tree for guest to share their words of wisdom, congratulations and love for the newlyweds on baroque stationary.  Hanging each note on a black iron tree to create and eye catching, unique display.

Keeping with the classic impression the couple chose famous couples throughout history as the table names. Adorable names such as Johnny Cash and June Carter, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and Prince William and Kate appeared as one of the 14 table names.

Fall Showroom – Victorian Blush

Taking inspiration from the beloved vintage theme Jenelle Jamani from Event Planning Headquarters created this tranquil Victorian fall tablescape.

Set in front of a full voile backdrop with beaded curtains this table would be the perfect choice for the bride who wants a Victorian atmosphere with a splash of colour at their reception.

To keep the banquet table open an ornate centrepiece was placed together in the middle of the table. This romantic centrepiece was created using an assortment of vases, urns and flowers with princess cut votives scattered across the middle of the entire table.

A Modern Terrarium

Terrariums are a hot new trend for centerpieces this year and we are loving it! Our team at Event Planning Headquarters, a division of Special Event Rentals, embraced this new trend and created a modern terrarium tablescape in our showroom.

Black chiavari chairs add a sharp crisp feel against the neutral tones of the ironwood nova linen and silver pintuck runner, on the table. Additional colour is introduced into this table setting with the rose gold mercury votive holders and the rich green of the succulents.
