Oh Canada! This July 1st Canadian’s from coast to coast will celebrate the true north, strong and free’s 151st Birthday! Celebrating Canada Day 2018 in the beautiful provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan? Here are just a few of the incredible events & activities planned in Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, Banff and Regina!


➸ Canada Day at the Alberta Legislature
Events start at 12pm and go until 9pm. Be sure and check out the food truck and enjoy all the free family-friendly activities planned.

➸ Mill Woods Celebrates Canada Day
Enjoy free family activities at Mill Woods Park from 1pm – 11pm.

➸ Canada Day at the Edmonton Valley Zoo 
Celebrate Canada Day 2018 with family friendly activities all day long from 11am – 4pm for the cost of regular admission. Join in on all the fun for Canada’s 151st Birthday!

➸  Canada Day Pancake Breakfast 
Head down to the Alberta Legislature Building and Grounds for the 28th Annual Canada Day Breakfast from 7am – 9am. Enjoy free pancakes and more, sponsored by the Edmonton’s Ismaili Community.

  Dominion Day at Fort Edmonton Park 
Join Edmonton’ s historic Fort Edmonton Park for a day of fun for the whole family. Celebrate our great nation from 11am – 5pm.

➸ Fireworks at 11pm
Great viewing locations include  Alberta Legislature Grounds, Victoria Park, RiverValley Road, Ezio Faraone Park, Dantzer’s Hill, TELUS Field, and Government House Park.


➸ Canada Day at Fort Calgary
Celebrate all things Canadian at Fort Calgary from 9am – 4pm with a barbecue, live entertainment and so much more.

 Canada Day Eau Claire Market
Enjoy entertainments, a petting zoo, face painting, free ice cream and so much more from 11am – 11pm at Calgary’s Eau Claire Market.

➸ First Nations Powwow
Head down to Prince’s Island Park from 11am – 5pm to celebrate Canada’s heritage with incredible cultural performances.

Canada Day at Spruce Meadows
Celebrate July 1st at Calgary’s renowned Spruce Meadows with family friendly events such as pony rides, a symphony concert, the Pan American tournament, and so much more!

➸ Performances Riverfront Stage
Celebrate Canada Day 2018 with some of our nation’s most acclaimed rock, pop, folk and indie artists at the Riverfront Stage between 6:30pm – 11pm. Juno winner, Corb Lund will take the stage at 10pm.

Canada Day ENMAX Fireworks
End Canada Day 2018 with a bang! Fireworks will light up Calgary’s gorgeous skyline at approximately 11pm. Watch the show from one of the many great viewing locations along the Bow River.

➸ Canada Day Celebration July 1, 2018
Join the Red Deer Cultural Heritage Society at Bower Ponds for an array of cultural performances featuring many talented performers between 11:30am – Midnight!

➸ Fireworks Finale
Nothing says Canada Day like fireworks. Wrap up Sunday, July 1st with a stunning firework display at Bower Ponds beginning at 11pm.


➸ Canada Day 2018
Celebrate our nation’s birthday with activities and events all day long in Banff’s Central Park. Events start at 12pm with the opening ceremonies and run until the 11pm fireworks.

➸ Canada Day Parade
Join the Town of Banff for their famous parade down the historic Banff Avenue at 11:30am.

➸ Fireworks
Watch as the night sky is illuminated with a spectacular fireworks display beginning at 11pm. Central park offers the best views for the show!


Pancake Breakfast
Enjoy a pancake breakfast provided by Save-On-Foods with a donation to the Regina Food Bank  Breakfast will be served in the main stage area in Wascana Centre from 8:30am – 10:30am.

2018 Regina Canada Day Fun Run & Walk
Start Canada Day 2018 off right and take the whole family down to Wascana Centre on Sunday, July 1st at 8:30am. Be sure and register early for either the 3K or 5K walk or run.

Canada Day Fireworks
Find your spot in Wascana Park as Canada Day fireworks illuminate the night sky at 10:30pm.
