Canada Day Events in Edmonton

➸ Canada Day at the Alberta Legislature
Events start at 12pm and go until 9pm. Be sure and check out the food truck and enjoy all the free family-friendly activities planned.

➸ Mill Woods Celebrates Canada Day
Enjoy free family activities at Mill Woods Park from 1pm – 11pm including the brand new artisan bazaar featuring Canadian made creations.

➸ Canada Day at the Edmonton Valley Zoo 
Celebrate Canada Day 2019 with family friendly activities all day long from 11am – 4pm for the cost of regular admission. Join in on all the fun for Canada’s 152nd Birthday!

➸  Canada Day Pancake Breakfast 
Head down to the Alberta Legislature Building and Grounds for the 29th Annual Canada Day Breakfast and enjoy free pancakes from 7am – 9am.

  Dominion Day at Fort Edmonton Park 
Join Edmonton’ s historic Fort Edmonton Park for a day of fun for the whole family. Celebrate our great nation from 11am – 5pm.

Great viewing locations include Alberta Legislature Grounds, Victoria Park, RiverValley Road, Ezio Faraone Park, Dantzer’s Hill, TELUS Field, and Government House Park.

➸ Canada Day at Fort Calgary
Celebrate all things Canadian at Fort Calgary from 11am – 4pm with entertainment, kids zone and so much more.

 Canada Day Eau Claire Market
Enjoy entertainment for the whole family from 11am – 11pm at Calgary’s Eau Claire Market.

➸ First Nations Powwow
Head down to Prince’s Island Park from 11am – 5pm to celebrate Canada’s heritage with incredible cultural performances.

➸ Canada Day at Spruce Meadows
Celebrate July 1st at Calgary’s renowned Spruce Meadows with family friendly events such as pony rides, a symphony concert, the Pan American tournament, and so much more!

➸ Performances on Tim Hortons Canada Day Stage
Celebrate Canada Day 2019 with some of our nation’s most acclaimed rock, pop, folk and indie artists at the Tim Hortons Canada Day Stage between 6:30pm – 11pm.

The City of Calgary Fireworks Show
End Canada Day 2019 with a bang! Fireworks will light up Calgary’s gorgeous skyline at approximately 11pm. Watch the show from one of the many great viewing locations along the Bow River.

Join the Red Deer Cultural Heritage Society at Bower Ponds for the 50th Canada Day Celebration in Red Deer. Enjoy an array of cultural performances featuring many talented performers between 11:30am – 11:30p,!

➸ Fireworks Finale
Nothing says Canada Day like fireworks. Wrap up Monday, July 1st with a stunning firework display at Bower Ponds beginning at 11pm.

Canada Day Events in Regina

➸ 2019 Regina Canada Day Fun Run & Walk
Start Canada Day 2019 off right and take the whole family down to Wascana Centre on Monday, July 1st at 8:30am. Be sure and register early for either the 3K or 5K walk or run.

➸ Western Canada’ Strong Man Competition 
Western Canada’s strongest will descend on Regina Monday, July 1st to battle it out for the title of Western Canada’s Strongest Man. Watch the competition at beautiful Wascana Lake park in front of the Legislative Building. This event is free for spectators but is always jam packed so arrive early!

Find your spot in Wascana Park as Canada Day fireworks illuminate the night sky at 10:30pm.
